Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a Japanese word consisting of two characters "Rei" and "Ki". • Rei - is Japanese for spiritual or sacred • Ki - is Japanese for energy.

What they don't tell you.... is that this energy from the Source comes to us on the green color ray.

Color derives from the spectrum of light (distribution of light energy versus wavelength) interacting in the eye. Specifications of color are based on their physical properties such as light absorption, reflection, or emission spectra. By defining a color space, colors can be identified numerically by their coordinates.

The science of color is sometimes called chromatics. It includes the physics of electromagnetic radiation in the visible range (that is, what we commonly refer to simply as light).

Electromagnetic radiation is characterized by its wavelength or frequency and its intensity. The wavelength of green is 490-560 nanometers... the frequency is 540-610 TeraHertz.

What that means... is that each of the various Reiki attunements are still within the green band of energy... meaning that they are vibrating at a different frequency and are just a little different... not better... just different.

It is my belief that each attunement gives the Reiki Master a wider range of healing possibilities....
